Visiting hours

ANMC’s posted visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Special visiting arrangements can be made with the nursing staff for visitors unable to visit during regular visiting hours. An example of this would be out of town visitors or persons with unusual work situations. Arrangements can also be made for family visitation outside of the normal visiting hours for those patients who are seriously ill and women in labor.

Visitors are welcome because the comfort they bring can be an important part of the patient's return to health. Family members can contribute to their care, planning, and recovery. ANMC encourages their participation. We just ask that it be remembered that quiet also contributes to the patient's recovery.

Sometimes we restrict visits, for example during a general outbreak of a communicable disease in the community or during a declared disaster. Otherwise, the guidelines are geared for the different needs of our patients. If a family member or friend is feeling poorly or has an active cold, we suggest he stay at home to prevent passing the illness on.
