In May and June of 2007, several SDPI grantees organized a funrun/walk to promote diabetes prevention activities to support and advocate for SDPI funding for diabetes prevention and treatment.   Aleutian/Pribilof Islands Association, Inc., Chugachmiut, Copper River Native Association, Ketchikan Indian Corporation, Maniilaq Health Corporation, Mt. Sanford, Norton Sound Health Corporation, South East Alaska Regional Health Consortium, South Central Foundation, and Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation participated in the event.
