Food service

Dietary services
Nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. Patients admitted to the hospital are served breakfast between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m., lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and dinner between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. Breakfast trays will include a menu from which you can order meals for the next day. Please mark your menu and someone from Dietary Services will pick it up. If you are on a special diet prescribed by your doctor, you will receive menus tailored to your specific needs. If a family member or friend wants to eat in your room with you, he or she is welcome to bring food from home or to purchase a meal from the cafeteria or elsewhere and bring it back to your room.

Medical nutrition therapy
The hospital maintains a staff of four full-time Registered Dietitians to provide medical nutrition therapy during your hospital stay. If you have questions about your nutritional needs, please call 729-2675.
